Effective immediately, and to be added to all new models made by Pyramid Technologies, the Apex bill validator will now boast a revised upper sensor board, that emits highly visible blue light flashes from its arrow flashers on the front of the bill validator.  The upgrade changes the color of the upper sensor board and the lights, to blue.  Only validators with a blue upper sensor board can emit the blue light.  Older models are not upgradeable, unless the upper sensor board is replaced.  Pyramid makes this change as they actively search for new ways to develop and build on the remarkably versatile platform they established when they released the Apex 7000 series validator over 2 years ago.

Validators with the new lights may not end up in customers hands immediately, as both Pyramid and their distributors will be sending out the old stock green light units first.
