Product Overview
Beginning in the spring of 2016, Dixie Narco changed the gate style in their BevMax soda machines to allow for the vending of a wider array of products, and more specifically, square Pure Leaf tea bottles. The two "knuckles" on the gate itself are all that really changed, and it can be hard to tell the difference unless you look closely at them. These new gates will fix vending problems with other products as well, such as the newer Gatorade bottle that often gets stuck between the knuckles on the old gates, and won't vend.
This kit contains all the parts, including newly designed support brackets, to update any existing BevMax 2/3/4/6 tray with 9 selections per tray to the current style gates. It should be noted as well that while these gates allow the BevMax to vend a larger variety of products, certain other products actually require a shim now. Red Bull, and other bottles of similar size, require a one-piece shim when they are vended out of a column with these new gates.
