This kit will fix all of the odd ghost vending issues that plague the original 2s and 3s.

    Great Kit!

Posted by DUSTIN MYERS on 19th Dec 2020

First off let me say that Alden was incredibly helpful. This kit fixed all the issues with the machines that I have. The vendor no longer does the little dance to seat the drink in the cup, it just grabs it and puts it in the delivery slot. Very smooth operation. The new delivery bin was very needed also. Dont stop with just this kit though. Alden informed me that the splash front decal will fit on the old machines also. He even told me how to install them without messing them up. Now the machine looks like new as well as works like new. I also just realized that he has the new gates that will fix the problem with gatorade bottles not vending properly. I will have to get with him again and find out if the top bezel for the door with the slot for the credit card reader will fit on the older machines. Perfect way to get new life out of a older machine.

    BevMax Upgrade

Posted by Mike on 24th Mar 2020

This is my 3rd kit. I upgrades 1 Bevmax 3 and one Bevmax 4. The easiest one to upgrade is the Bevmax 4. Just install the parts turn it on, and tell the controller which model you have. After that program the prices. My latest purchase was to upgrade a future Bevmax. Excellent kit.

This is my second upgrade kit. The first one upgraded a BevMax 3 and worked perfectly. This second one is for a worn Bevmax 4. Excellent upgrade.

BevMax 3 to BevMax 4 Conversion Kit

Posted by Mike on 5th Dec 2018

Worked out very well on my Bevmax 3. Hardware installation was very simple. Had to play with the "Shelf Location" a bit, because the picker was not lining up ! The control board defaults to shelf location "D!", I had to change it to "D", and offset the "Y" axis. Other than that, it is up and running. ***(NOTE FROM VENDORS TECH: The guide for proper shelf locations and offsets is included with the control board package in the kit. We also offer detailed instructions on how to adjust those settings based on the serial number of your machine in our online video walking you through how to install this kit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrjmY1i43Q8. If there are offset or shelf location setting questions after installation, customers are welcome to call us at 970-623-1272. Thanks for your review, Mike!)***

    The good and the bad

Posted by Ken on 3rd Feb 2017

I usually don't do reviews but thought I would in this case as I think the product was excellent but I also have a few suggestions. First let me say the the product was well packaged however that being said the plastic standoffs used to mount the main controller to the metal back plate did not survive the trip. All 5 were broken in transit. Two of the standoffs on the old board were also broken leaving me short. After checking with many local computer and electronic stores I was finally able to find a suitable substitute. My suggestion is that the main board assembly be boxed separately inside to main box to prevent this from occurring. ***(NOTE FROM VENDORS TECH: Sometimes those standoffs come broken from the manufacturer, and we can't see them in the sealed bag. However, we have made necessary changes to prevent this happening in the future, and notified the customer that new standoffs can be provided by us free of charge if they come broken.)*** Secondly, I found the keypad and cover (bezel) assembly difficult to mount. My machine used a flat keypad bracket which did not mount well behind the new bezel because of the bezel's thickness. I ordered a new bracket (part #CR0001800) which made the install a snap. The new bracket also allows for the use of the keypad cover without breaking the tabs or filing the alignment stub.. I ordered a new cover/bezel (part #80182462) as well. The bracket is not very expensive and i suggest that it also be included in the upgrade kit. ***(NOTE FROM VENDORS TECH: This suggestion actually coincided with a planned update we made to these kits, which are now shipped with a complete keypad and money insertion assembly that is much easier to install, and no longer requires modification of any parts.)*** Aside from those issues installation was easy and the machine operates perfectly. Thanks to Vendors Tech for selling such a kit.

    Fixed My Problems!

Posted by Juan Ramon Crespillo on 24th Aug 2016

I´m from Spain and thanks to Alden and Vendors Tech, my broken DN5800 Bevmax 2 is now a new Bevmax4. More efficient, fast, accurate. Really a worth purchase is this kit. Here, in Europe it´s very difficult to obtain spare parts for Crane, so I´was lucky to find this store.
