This is the center gate for the Dixie BevMax trays in machines with the elevator delivery system. In 2016, the gate designed changed, with the two "knuckles" on each side of the gate being redesigned to allow for vending of square bottles (Pure Leaf Tea). Any machine manufactured prior to the spring of 2016, unless it has been upgraded, will not have this newer style gate. The difference in the two gates can be observed by looking at the knuckles. The point in the knuckle's "V" faces towards you on the old gates, and faces towards the back of the machine on the new ones. You cannot mix and match gate styles on trays. The whole tray has to have all of one style or the other gate. There is a complete tray upgrade kit available if you need to upgrade to the new gates; it is here on our website, the part # is VT1975.
