These weather and water guards are after a long period of absence! We here at Vendors Tech are now manufacturing these covers ourselves, which will ensure an eventual unlimited supply of the highest-quality bill validator and card reader weather covers ever produced!
Here are a few highlights and features of our in-house designed-and-built cover guards:
- 3/16" molded plexiglass cover which is shock and impact resistant
- Plastic construction material and seams are 100% water, soap, dirt, cleaning chemical, sun, heat, and cold/freeze proof
- Protects against 99% of all moisture and dirt intrusions when mounted properly against a flat, metal surface
- All mounting and metal hardware are stainless steel to prevent rust and corrosion damage
- A new-and-improved cover size now covers and guards nearly any validator or card reader bezel footprint, including MEI 2000 series card readers, High Visibility Bezels, as well as all Nayax, USAT, and Coinco card readers and bezels
- Outer dimensions of the cover are 4 7/8" Wide, 5 7/8" Tall, 2 7/8" Deep
- Inner dimensions of the cutout hole are 3 1/2" Wide, 4 1/2" Tall
- Magnetic seal on the back side of the cover secures the cover to bare metal surfaces around the validator/card reader
- Hinge mounting holes are far enough apart to prevent the mounting screws from hitting or interfering with the bill acceptor when securing the cover to your application

These covers mount over the front of bill acceptors or stand-alone card readers in vending machines, car washes, ice machines, change machines and more - providing protection and a seal against rain, moisture, dirt, and splashing water - all while remaining easy to lift on their hinge for the customer to insert money. These covers include mounting hardware and instructions. These covers will fit the front of any application that has a generous area of flat metal (or any other surface material) around where the bill validator or card reader protrudes from their host machine.
Before purchasing this item, make sure there is at least 1 1/2" of room above the protruding portion of your bill validator or card reader for the hinge to sit and for you to drill holes to mount it.
