Note, you MUST have a Coinco BA-FP-3 programmer, available on our website, in order to install this chip yourself. The chips may or may not come with a pre-installed program on them, so you need a programmer to put the latest program on them after you install them into your validator. We can preload them for you, but the acceptance rate is not as good compared to installing the software with when the chip is in your valdidator.
The chips in this listing are for "B" validators, like Mag50B, Mag50BAB, etc. These will not work in "R" validators (Mag52R), or "SA" validators (Mag50SA). You will have to buy the chips also available on the website specifically for those validators.
These chips are Coinco latest version for their Mag "short" series control boards for their Mag bill acceptors, and any other bill acceptor that a Mag board will fit in. You have to have this chip or the 67126-12 chip on your Coinco BA/Mag boards in order for the unit to be able to accept the 2008 currency update, or any other future updates.
