Product Overview
This temperature sensor/probe is the 2nd generation of this sensor. It will work in any Merchant 471/472 that already has stainless steel probes, as well as any other older 471/472 that has had Crane harness part #402917 deck thermistor harness installed. The new deck harness moves the connection point for these probes to be in front of the condenser so that they can be easily replaced.
If your machine has copper probes currently, you will need our part #VT2405 as a replacement sensor, unless you upgrade your deck thermistor harness so that you may use this sensor.
