This upgrade kit will replace your older "G" style Atlas control board with the newer Media2 Atlas "H" control board. These boards have much faster processing speeds compared to the old Atlas "G" control boards, including a 30-second boot-up time and much faster touchscreen responses.
These new "H" boards are compatible with any older 7" black or white frame touchreens, and all the newer 9" touchscreens. The Atlas H board is not compatible with any machine using the 3.5" display and keypad configuration. Your BevMax also must have an I/O board version (the board on the back wall of your machine) of 0227 or higher for the Atlas H board to work in your machine. If you have a software version earlier than this, you can update the software on your I/O board in most cases using a MicroSD card and a software file obtainable from us or Crane.
In early 2021, Crane began offering a version of the Atlas H board with the modem for cashless connectivity built into the board. If you are replacing an existing Atlas H board with this kit, make sure you buy the right board with or without the modem based on your needs. If you are replacing a G board and already have cashless hardware, or if you have no cashless hardware at all, we recommend buying the H board without the modem built into it in both of those cases.
